Been here a couple times. The first time was on taco tuesday. 7 kinds of tacos for only a dollar. The second time I got the Smack Down Burrito.
Taco tuesday it was packed since I went around dinner time. The 7 choices of tacos were Adobada, Carnitas, Pollo Asado, Carne Asada, Baja Fish, Grilled Fish, and Nopal (Cactus). The fish tacos alone are worth getting a least a couple of. If you refer to my pic, each taco is decent in size and has a good amount of meat compared to some other places.
The Smack Down Burrito ($7.50) comes with Carne Asada, Shrimp, Fries, Cheese, Pico De Gallo, and Shipotle Crema. All thes ingredients come together rather nicely and you can tell with every bite.
Of course as must with any taco place, a good salsa bar is mandatory. These guys definitely dont disappoint. You have 5 different sauces ranging from mild to very hot. Your sauces are House Salsa(mild), Tomatilla (mild, which is green suace really), Guacamole Salsa (mild), Diablo Sauce (Hot), and Habanero Sauce (Fire). Honestly, the Diablo and Habanero sauce isnt as hot as you may think it is. The star of these sauces is the GUACAMOLE SALSA. It's in caps because its basically green sauce mixed with guacamole and its very good.
Located off of St Rose and Eastern, this place is situated where Super Burrito and a Kabob restaurant used to be. I can say with confidence that Taco Man Grill is gonna be here for awhile.
Service is off the charts here. They do everything they can to satisfy your needs. Case in point, they ran out of guacamole salsa. As soon as I pointed it out, not a minute later, they filled it. Second time I accidently spilled my water and the girl at the front counter immediately came over to clean it up.
In closing, I still have PLENTY of items to try from their menu. Things like a Hot Cheetos Burrito, Surf n Turf Burrito, Bowls, Breakfast Items, Churros, and yes, 4 kinds of fries like Carne Asada, Pollo Asada, Surf n Turf, and Campechana. Now the last one I cant wait to try because it has Adobada (Pastor), Grilled Angus Steak, Guacamole, Sour Cream, and Cheese. Hours are everyday from 8 am to 10 pm. So what are you doing still reading this review? Go and get you some good grub from these guys!

Happened to find this place due to Taco Tuesday. If you are starving and in the mood for good variety of tacos stop by. This is probably the only place I now know of that has $1 tacos on Tuesday! I know INSANE! And to top it off the tacos are definitely worth it. Great service from what looked to be the owner of the establishment. I can definitely tell it is a new establishment, this is due to the staff seeming a little flustered after a crowd of people arrived. Comes with working out the kinks of new establishment. So be sure to be patient especially if heading down for Taco Tuesday. I tried their Carne Asada, Chicken, And Carnitas tacos. I would definitely recommend the Carnitas. This is one spot I will keep on my radar.

Ambience-popular, crowded, busy, noisy, sizzling from the grill.
Service-awesome, friendly, cheerful, helpful. they are super busy but when telling them that they're out of limes at the salsa help yourself bar, they will bring it out to where you are sitting before they put at the bar.
Food//tacos-excellent, perfect, fantastic, delicious, large portion, fresh corn tortillas, lots of goodies in those tacos--my personal favorites are carne asada & chicken (a bit dry however there are sauces for them & a bit salty to my taste, but the lime tajin cucumbers (at the salsa help yourself bar) balances it out perfectly), there are fresh guacamole as their toppings on these tacos... What more can you ask for $1 per taco with what you get? It was very affordable and i am surprise by how much they give you by that price. Only on Tuesday, selected tacos are $1.
Will definitely, most likely, be coming back here from now on. Since it's a mile away from my workplace, this would be the spot for lunch and/or dinner.
I wanted to try their burritos, especially their surf & turf burrito.
I'm drooling as I'm thinking of those tacos. I need to taco all about this.
definitely recommend this place. Good eats. -

I know Yelp wants us to do long and thorough reviews, but I would sound like a teenage girl fawning over Justin Bieber or something.
THIS PLACE IS LEGIT!!!
I'm 49 years old and I just had the best burrito in my life!! The surf and turf burrito is FANTASTIC!!! Don't let "tartar sauce" freak you out. It's not what you're thinking. You probably can't go wrong with any of the burritos!
My wife got the rice and beans add on on the side, and both of them were fantastic!
We tried all of the salsas from the salsa bar and they were all good. The Diablo was my favorite. It's not that spicy. Neither is the Habanero. The flavor is great though. It's more for the masses and I loved it. Thanks to my wife and Yelp for bringing me here.
WTG Taco Man! I'll be seeing you again real soon!!! -

Taco, Taco Man. I wanna go to Taco Man (on Tuesdays)!
Taco Man Grill is a new restaurant in a relatively tame plaza on the southeast Corner of Eastern and St. Rose. They're quite convenient for me, so I had to give them a try. Then I had to give them a second try to confirm my observations, and the results were often inconsistent and consistent.
Just to be clear, this rating is based on the $1 Taco Tuesday prices (everything except surf and turf and shrimp, I'm hearing). If they were to abolish this deal, then I would rate them lower due to the lack of interesting meat cuts and the mediocre or poor results for some meats. Even with the hand-pressed corn tortillas, they need better fillings to compete with the best taquerias in town.
Adobada: the clear winner, with a delicious marinade of cumin and other spices piling on top of delicious pork flavor. Not really in line with the Tijuana style al pastor with pineapple, so it's not my favorite adobada or al pastor in town, but it's the best option here.
Grilled Fish: also a very strong choice, with the grilling contributing charred flavor to flaky fish. The crema is also delicious. Don't get the Baja Fish (more on this later)!
Carnitas: the other pork protein here, it's also pretty good and comes in larger chunks. It was a bit forgettable the first time around, but I enjoyed it on my second try.
Carne Asada: a gray disappointment on the first visit, but contained plenty of char on the second visit. However, it turned out to be dry as a result. You can find superior carne asada at different places.
Pollo Asado: forgettable at best on the first time due to to dryness, but actually prepared better on the second visit. Roughly the same quality and consistency as the beef, but chicken has less intrinsic flavor, so I'm ranking it lower.
Birria: way too salty on the first visit, and moderately too salty the second try. The marinade would be fine with less salt, but it's a poor first impression
Baja Fish: in contrast with the seafood taco mecca in Downtown Las Vegas (or a secondary store near Mountain's Edge), this seems to be made with freezer aisle fish sticks, or something very similar. It's not even the best frozen fish sticks. If you want battered/fried fish tacos, look elsewhere.
Salsas and some accompaniments are available at a little salsa bar near the soda fountains. I'm not sure how spicy all of them are, but the green salsas seem a little safer than the others. So far, all of the ones which I've tasted are good albeit a little thin. Due to lack of labeling / menu, I can't really describe all of the options except from observation. The darker green is definitely a typical tomatillo-based salsa, the red is tomato-based, and the green is creamy but surprisingly thin and moderately spicy.
I've found enough enjoyable proteins that I'll come back again and again to Taco Man Grill for the excellent Taco Tuesday deal, but I don't consider them anywhere near the highest quality tacos in town. They are a step behind in variety, and flavor than multiple competitors, so if you don't live/work close enough to come on Tuesday, then don't go out of your way unless you're sticking to my top protein preferences.
